Hello, friends!
A week ago, President Joe Biden endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris to be the Democratic Party's nominee for president in this fall's election. There was immediate excitement for this new campaign, and the excitement has only grown since then!
I previously shared ways to get involved (including donating, sharing on social media, and more), but now, I have a question: What's your issue?
Is it women's rights?
Gun control?
Climate action?
Working families?
Progressive politics in general?
Whatever it is, I can almost guarantee there is an established organization that has endorsed Kamala Harris and is working to get people to the polls this November to vote for her!
Here are a few I have found. All of them are looking for volunteers to support their voter turnout efforts across the country. Click the link (or take the suggested action listed) to learn more about how you can get involved:
Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America: Download the Demand Action App (text APP to 644-33) and turning on your notifications to get daily updates on actions you can take to help get out the vote
Working Families Party (pledge to take action, then watch their website for details on phone banks and more)
I'm sure there are lots of others, I will add them as I come across them!
And I would be remiss if I didn't remind you that we have a real opportunity to change our state for the better in this year's election too! Please consider working to get our statewide candidates elected too:
